LUUCK: Slobber, Eternity, and Cat Litter w/ Things A Cat Can Do To A Fence
The writing in "LUUCK" is a reference and response to many things. Mainly it is a "writing through" noise and avant-garde recordings made by friends and acquaintances. I wanted to find ways of writing about this music that were abstract in similar ways to the recordings.

I wrote through recordings by Jackson-Pratt, Leah P, Scald Hymn, Jacob Winans, Form Hunter, Limbs Bin, Kjosted, Gabrielle Losoncy, Max Hammel, Wasteland Jazz Unit, and Chris Fratesi.

The title is a reference to Isidore Issou, who I learned about back in college, but never knew much about until a recent book "Speaking East" was printed. He was a maniac, but integral to the development of art and writing in which our community exists. I modified the title to point back to my little life.

I wrote Things A Cat Can Do To A Fence in 2010 while living on Union Street. I was and still am moved by Christopher Janke's book "The Embryonic Structure Of The Rat Brain." I include this work here as a reference for myself. In some ways I've changed, In most others, I'm the same.
